You could have watched that on Railway Tracks the jallies (tiny broken rocks) are found filled in between the two rails all along the track throughout ,the reason is that the broken tiny rocks act as shock absorbers,they minimize the vibrations effected by the fast moving train on rails.The vibration is spread from one tiny rock to another and the rails are also saved.
